The Hanover Swim Club is committed to providing a fun and safe environment for our swimmers, coaches, and volunteers. The club has created a "Safe Sport" webpage on our website, which can be reviewed here: HSC Safe Sport.

The Safe Sport section of our website includes the following:

• Resources for Rowan's Law
• HSC's Dispute Resolution Policy and links to Swim Ontario's Safe Sport website
• HSC's Code of Conduct and Discipline procedure
• Other policies, procedures, and resources for swimmer safety

Dispute Resolution:

The Hanover Swim Club, in alignment with Swim Ontario's policies, will have an impartial Dispute Resolution Officer (DRO) who will review any complaints related to participant safety in accordance with our Dispute Resolution Procedure. This process and the review completed by the DRO will be confidential and independent of both coaches and board members. If additional actions are recommended by the DRO, these will be brought to the attention of the board in accordance with the procedure.
