Financial Assistance
The Hanover Swim Club recognizes that registering in sports activities can be financially challenging for some families. It is our belief that anyone who wants to swim, should not be denied that opportunity for financial reasons. The following financial supports are available:
Canadian Tire Jumpstart
The Jumpstart Child Grant Program offers funding for children between the ages of 4-18, to sustained programs that involve sport or physical activity, and which last a minimum of five weeks in duration, including at least one session per week. Successful applicants may be funded up to $300 per activity (max $600 per child annually, subject to chapter discretion and/or local demands)

KidSport Grants
KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Ontario provides grants of up to $250 per eligible kid, per year (January 1st – December 31st) towards sport registration fees.
If the child needs equipment, we will make a referral to a partner agency. Grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; travel and competitions are not eligible for funding.
The deadline is May 31st for all programs taking place between June- August.

The deadline is December 23 for all programs taking place between January- March 31st.

HSC Everyone Can Swim Financial Assistance
For families requiring financial support for registration fees, a request can be submitted using the link below for a discount, credit or partial refund of registration fees. All submitted requests will be screened by the club president, and then presented to the HSC board for review and approval. All information will be confidential, with names removed prior to being presented to the HSC board.
