Katrina Carter 

Head Coach

Katrina has a passion for competitive swimming.  She is a Swimming Canada – NCCP Level 2 Certified coach.  She has been coaching the Hanover Swim Club since 2017 and had previously coached the Hanover Personal Best Swim team from 2007-2010.  Her goal is to teach children the joy and passion of competitive swimming, while also teaching the valuable life skills that come from organized sport. Her biggest objective with coaching is to make sure that everyone is having FUN.

Besides coaching, Katrina has been a competitive swimmer for 25 plus years, much of that time training and competing in Florida.  Most recently, she competed in the 2017 FINA World Masters Championship in Budapest, Hungary and the 2018 Ontario Provincial Masters Championships. Katrina is also a Registered Massage Therapist. 


Jordan Hotta

Originally from Sudbury, ON, Jordan has been a lifelong athlete competing in several sports at the both the provincial and national levels in swimming, dragon boat, and canoe marathon. Since moving to the area, Dr. Hotta has provided continuing education for the Bruce County Paramedic Services, joined the Run4Health Committee in Walkerton, and is a member of the Port Elgin Master’s Swim Team.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2019 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto after completing his honors bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences (BMSc.)  at the University of Western Ontario. He currently practices out of Peak Performance Chiropractic Clinic in Walkerton, and Bruce County Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Centre in Port Elgin.

Jordan looks forward to creating an inclusive, engaging, and competitive atmosphere for all athletes.
